So I've been playing around with the site and have found that you can add images to the posts. They sit wedged between the title and the synopsis/flavour text.
I've gone and added a bunch so that people can see what they look like, but thanks to the way wordpress works, taking them down, or changing them to something else, is easy as clicking a mouse.
Take a look at the main page and tell me what you think.

Looks pretty nice. Maybe translators can suggest images they think would be best for the work. Nice idea!

I was thinking the same thing, the translator (or author for that matter) could choose which image to use, crop it to size (800x100) and post it along with the story here in the forums.
There is also the question of size. The current ones are 800x100, but if you go back to the very first story, On the Road (which is now on the second page), you can see what a 800x300 image looks like.
It's also important to note that these images are in the public domain, mostly from Wikimedia Commons.
